1. Can I add my own signature or logo to the card?

  Yes these can be added at no extra charge. We need high resolution 300 dpi for logos and signatures. Sign on plain white paper, scan your signature and save as high resolution jpg file or send to RivaDivas for scanning.

3. What if I don’t want to send my client address list?

You can send a first names only data list and have the cards sent back to your company for forward mailing.

 

4. Is there a price reduction if I send the cards internally?

There are different cost implications for RivaDivas if the cards are returned to your company for distribution and therefore there is no price reduction.

 

5. Can I choose the cards myself?

6. I like your service but can I use a different range of cards?

7. What happens if my data list changes?

If you only have a few amendments, you can email these changes to us in a password protected word document. Or you can send us an entirely new data list.

 

8. What happens to the old datalist?

Any one off data list is deleted as soon as printing is completed. Any old data list is deleted as soon as it is replaced with a new list. This complies with the Data Protection Act principle that personal information is ‘not kept for longer than is necessary’.

 

9. What is printed on the back of the cards?

The only data on the reverse of the card is the copyright and information relating to the photographer and the photographers website.

 

10. How do I ensure I comply with the Data Protection Act?

All our clients are provided with full guidance to ensure they comply with the principles and guidelines of the Data Protection Act. Our contracts include all the relevant clauses to ensure full compliance by both parties to the contract.

 

11. How do I know my data is secure?

RivaDivas follow the international recommendations for Information Security Management and we are working towards ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002 certification formerly known as BS7799.

 

12. Who will use the information provided on the data list?

RivaDivas will provide greetings card in accordance with the terms of the contract. RivaDivas will not use the data for any other purpose. RivaDivas will not pass on the data to any other parties. All data lists will be deleted as soon as the terms of the contract have been fulfilled.

 

13. How should I send my data file to RivaDivas?

You need to create a csv or txt file and save it with a 10 digit password. This should include a mix of alpha and numeric characters, upper and lower case and also numbers. This file will then be encrypted and it can be attached to an email. The email itself is not encrypted so you must send a separate email containing the password. Never include the password and encrypted file in the same email. Alternatively you can transfer the file using our recommended secure data transfer site. 14. Are you certified to BS7799?

As a new company we are not yet certified to the British Standard on Information Management BS7799 but we follow the guidelines and aim to go through the process of accreditation and registration, as soon as possible.
